UNTV: The Dive At Mope Beach Resort

It’s been a year since UNTV TV show “The Dive” has visited Mope Beach Resort. We had such a wonderful time with this fun and lovable gang of super divers! If you haven’t seen the episode yet, check it out here:

Since then, Scuba Diving in Zambales has become more popular, and it’s wonderful to finally have our diving sites noticed! Being the first Scuba Diving Resort in Zambales (Up North), we’ve found some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the Philippines rich in all sorts of ocean life, most especially the graceful Phillipine Sea Turtle!

If you haven’t heard yet, The San Narciso Turtle Hatchery is a 5 minute walk down the beach from our resort, and offers a beautiful sanctuary for turtle eggs! Since the mother turtles bury their eggs in the sand, it can be hard to notice which means people may step on these precious eggs without even knowing it!

Luckily, our locals do night walks along the beach make sure to collect the eggs as they’re lain to ensure protection and a safe, healthy environment for them to hatch! People often visit Turtle Hatcheries in the Philippines to experience releasing baby turtles back into the ocean!

We are currently doing everything we can to raise awareness of the importance of aquatic creatures in our country and scuba diving in the Philippines is a great way to experience the overwhelmingly astonishing beauty of our ocean!
